The power of makeup has always fascinated me, especially in the way it can change the way you feel about yourself. The happiness my clients feel after having their makeup done is the reason why I love my job as a makeup artist. I’m always so thankful that my biggest passion has become my career!
I am fully certified in makeup application studying at the London School Of Makeup, I gained the internationally recognised IMA (International Make-up Association) qualification. I am also fully insured giving my clients complete piece of mind. My five years experience being a freelance makeup artist has naturally lead me to specialise in bridal and wedding makeup as well as special occasion makeup. I pride myself on my professionalism and my ability to create a variety of makeup looks and styles from natural to glamorous, European bridal to Asian bridal. I am confident and experienced in working on all skin tones and types. My tried and tested techniques ensure your makeup on looks flawless in person, photographs beautifully and lasts all day and night. I have built a certain trust with my clients where they sit in my chair and comfortably say “You decide how I should look”. I always feel privileged to be a part of your special day and I love helping you look and (most importantly) feel absolutely beautiful, whatever the occasion.
In my makeup kit you will find a range of professional brushes and luxury brands that I use on all my clients, including Makeup Forever, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit, Urban Decay, Tarte, NARS, Laura Mercier, By Terry, Charlotte Tilbury & MAC to name a few. Being a makeup artist with good hygiene practices is something I feel very strongly about, and the health and safety of my clients is paramount. Over the years I have seen some very disturbing practices by other artists and always try to educate my clients when I can so they are aware of the importance of hygiene when booking a makeup artist. My kit and brushes/sponges are sanitised and cleaned between every booking and I use only disposable brushes for mascara application. I also do not “double dip” brushes into cream products (e.g. eyeliner) to avoid the risk of infection and cross-contamination. Powder products are sanitised with an anti-bacterial spray. I will not work on a client with any contra-indications to protect my future clients and my kit.
